Dr. George Kwadwo Baah is an accounting and finance professional with more than 25 years experience in accounting, finance, management information systems and training. He is a university accounting professor and the managing director of Amity Consulting LLC, a firm of chartered accountants and management consultants.

Prior to founding Amity Consulting, Dr. Baah was the director of financial reporting and tax integration at the Hackett Group Inc. He has extensive financial reporting and management consulting experience, having worked in Ghana, the UK and the US with major organizations such as Deloitte and Touché, Prudential Financial and Wells Real Estate Funds Inc. As a senior portfolio operations accountant at Wells Real Estate Funds Inc, he was responsible for the fixed assets accounting of a 5-billion-dollar portfolio of Class A commercial office buildings.

Dr. Baah earned his PhD in management from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant with licenses to practice as an accountant in the United States and the United Kingdom. Dr. Baah is a product of University of Professional Studies, Legon Ghana.

Dr. Baah is the immediate past president of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) members association of the United States; serves on ACCA’s international assembly (ACCA leadership group focused on improving the accounting profession) as well as the global audit assurance committee of ACCA.
